Dancing in Harmony

Archaeologists have found evidence of dance on 9000-year-old paintings in India and on Egyptian tomb paintings depicting dancing figures from 3300 BC. Dancing has been a part of the human experience from the beginning of time. People are moved to dance, whether dancing with a partner or simply dancing alone at home, when that special song comes along.

Many cultures around the world have used dance for ceremonies and rituals. Dance has been used for healing, expressing love, going to war, and entertaining and performing for an audience.

Now is the best time to go out and dance for health, for love – or just for the fun of it.
